Recycled Art Exhibition

The Festivals Recycled Art Exhibition is rapidly evolving, and this years event promises to be more dynamic than ever before! This visual feast is fast becoming one of Far North Queensland's most significant showcases for locally based and visiting artists working predominantly with recycled materials.
As with past years, the Art Exhibition is open to all artists; young and old, professional and amateur. The call goes out, once again, for submissions. We appreciate that the concept of recycled art is somewhat challenging to define so we therefore ask that each piece contains a minimum 80% re-used material.

2003 is the International Year of Fresh Water and having just experienced the driest year on record in the region, we felt it apt to give Envirofiesta a water theme. We do ask artists to consider this theme in the creation of artworks.

The exhibition offers a remarkable opportunity for exposure, with an expected attendance this year of over 5000 people. Any persons keen to be part of this exciting example of environmentally friendly creative talent,

Please call Danielle for details and an application form.
